there was no way to turn off email notifications at that time - 2019.
There IS an option to unsubscribe from an "Issue" notification but I am
not seeing a global option to turn off ALL email notifications. I prefer
to access them through the web interface.

They are coming from "Devuan's git store" and quickly filling up my
Trash unread.

Please . . . tell me there is a way to stop this annoyance.
