That means that you should (as root) run the command

    echo openils/lib > /etc/ld.so.conf.d/opensrf.conf

at a shell command prompt.

It does not mean that this line of text should end up in the file
/etc/ejabberd/ejabberd.yml and therefore you need to remove it, as well as
running the command.
