# Devuan meet 2020-11-26 @20:30 UTC
Present: rrq, jaromil, golinux, Adam, LeePen, mason, Xenguy, danyspin97
## Old Business
### mason
* unbound is going the wrong way with their patch. A CVE has been
assigned, but the correction won't help us directly, as they're going
to continue chowning the pidfile. This ideally should be fixed at
Debian, either to fix the code to not do that or to use sysvinit
scripting to manage a pidfile for unbound and suppress its doing so
itself via options. Failing that, we'd want to fork it.
* https://github.com/NLnetLabs/unbound/issues/303
* wiki project pending lurc
* went back to twiki/foswiki after finding issues with
third-party-plugins as a necessity with the PHP wikis
* may address separation of code and data with the AppArmor techniques
noted below, under pkginfo
## Old Actions
## New Business
* (rrq) pkginfo got a fix, plus new variant at
https://pkginfo.devuan.org/cgi-bin/policy-query.xml
* (mason) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PRZ59lxLlOY AppArmor
no-write/no-network profile for pkginfo?
* rationale, we ship AppArmor now, so it wouldn't be too painful
to implement (rrq) logging the concerns that a) the "apt-cache
policy" search is different from current (=old) pkginfo, and 2)
the "looks" of the new variant is not ideal (for all eyes
involved) (rrq) should move the repo into the devuan/ collection
* (rrq) beowulf 3.1 .. bgstack15 is on it; should check if date estimate
is possible
* (fsr) beowulf-proposed-updates needs to move into beowulf main to
build new isos. (rrq) yes, that's an ideal order of events, also
making the iso 3.1 truly be of "beowulf" even if it's techically
possible to collate several "source points" on the isos
### LeePen
* New versions of apt (thanks amesser), util-linux and network-manager
in ceres.
* New version of tomcat9 in beowulf-proposed-updates.
### danyspin97
* noting:
* https://sr.ht/~kennylevinsen/seatd/ (LeePen) Will look at packaging
for Devuan.
* (mason) capturing meeting notes: we'd be upstream for a potential
Debian package, following the same pattern as elogind

* https://github.com/swaywm/wlroots
