I use power, then lock screen from menu, but the effect should be
same. It would be very nice to automatically lock screen after some
delay -- it eats less energy that way, and difference between black
screen but touchscreen active and black screen and locked is very easy
to miss.

For the record, these are solved. There are multiple "audio cards" on
leste, so command line needs to be tweaked. Oh and that "#" character
really breaks alsactl, but it is easy to just remove that by hand.
