I have something slightly better now. It integrates my and Tony's
code, and should be suitable base for new development.

 * [new branch]        qmux-v1.31-2 -> qmux-v1.31-2

I don't know how to test the qmi code, but signal strength scale now
changed, so I assume it does something. Any ideas for good tests?
