Package: sysvinit-core
Version: 2.93-8+devuan1
Severity: minor
Dear Maintainer,
I made a Devuan container on Debian Bullseye by
mmdebstrap --components="main contrib non-free" --variant=standard beowulf /var/lib/lxc/devuan/rootfs
http://deb.devuan.org/merged
"lxc-start -n devuan" starts the Devuan container with no problem,
but lxc-stop -n devuan does not stop it.
The reason is that /etc/inittab has
pf::powerwait:/etc/init.d/powerfail start
and there is no /etc/init.d/powerfail.
Changing the above line to
pf::powerwait:/sbin/shutdown -h now
enables "lxc-stop -n devuan" to work as expected.
Best regards, Ryutaroh Matsumoto
