Extinction Rebellion (abbreviated as XR) is a global environmental
movement with the stated aim of using nonviolent civil disobedience
***to compel government action*** to avoid tipping points in the
climate system, biodiversity loss, and the risk of social and
ecological collapse.

The XR and most people are failing to understand that
they are expecting ~139 sq metres (2.7 pitches) of land
per person (less when considering lots of land provides
little of use) to fully support all that they might need and want,
under their current model of living (wasting... or, optimistically
gambling while seeking new efficiencies), over the duration of
their (and their offsprings) lifetimes, in perpetuity.
Either you will have to compel yourselves,
or the Earth will compel you. The latter is
already manifesting in various ways, including
your government wars to steal resources.
Humans of old... before modern archy systems...
supposedly tended to share them.
Tis better to create and share, than collapse.
