in Devuan is a very good thing. Those interested in "solving the browser
problem" can also look at IceWeasel-UXP [1]. I haven't tried it yet, but it's

Forked from Basilisk which and is reasonably recent for similar experience to firefox pre quantum.
Modified at the code level (not a simple rebrand or script).
Some XUL extensions are maintained in house by the hyperbola project.
Some enhancements to privacy and security.
Uses IceWeasel branding, so it's easy to recognise.
