I have one recent addition:

http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/mailman/listinfo/debian-init-diversity

is a new list created by Matthew Vernon in order to have the discussion
on how to cooperate in order to keep init diversity in Debian.

As an addition: Ian Jackson who also mentioned creating this list
offered to sponsor uploads to sysvinit.

I think both are a good starting points to actually get work done, so I
am adding this information here.

The list has a broader scope than sysvinit-devel mailing list in Debian.
So for example in Debian some people work on a elogind package to and I
brought them already in contact with the maintainer of the package in
Devuan.

This is a opportunity to not only keep sysvinit in Debian, but also
lessen the forking work on other packages.
