Last I checked, apparmor does not function with Devuan:

    # /etc/init.d/apparmor start
    /etc/init.d/apparmor: 130: /etc/init.d/apparmor:
    systemd-detect-virt: not found

    Starting AppArmor profiles:AppArmor not available as kernel
    LSM.. failed!
