Good! I'll recommend Cloudflare's 1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1 right along with
8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4, 9.9.9.9, and 149.112.112.112. And of course I'm also
recommending a glance at this page:

After hearing what you say, I included an extra couple paragraphs
explaining that the reason I discussed public servers is that they
pretty much eliminated the need for software to play games with
your /etc/resolv.conf, but that having your own caching server is
better still.
