You can delete 05disable-suggests, it's the default. The preferences.d/
files are only of use for those who ignore the advice[1] to *not* mix
Devuan and Debian repositories.

I don't and have purged devuan-baseconf without ill effects so far on
Jessie.

Eh, debian-installer ...
As to the non-free bit, it'd be nice if that only got added when
non-free components were *installed* (but I guess that ought to be fixed
by or in cooperation with Debian ;-).
