I did something unorthodox and merged the HEAD of debian's repository
(what they have in sid now). The log looks like this:
https://anonscm.debian.org/git/apt/python-apt.git/log/

With that, I had to manually install python3-feedparser, which is
probably a debian bug in python-apt (it's not listed as a build-dep in
debian/control).
After this manual install, d1h testbuild works nicely and produces the
.deb files, amongst them python-apt-common.

It's a matter of checking the added templates as I mentioned in the
previous email.
