a Devuan specific collection of packages of latest Mate 1.18 compiled
for ASCII is already maintained by AntoFox.

we intend ASAP to import these packages into ASCII.


just like in this case, on git.devuan.org there is a lot of activity
going which one can follow by creating a user and looking around for
notifications, but also linked from the IRC and from the other web
forum on dev1galaxy.org

needless to say a "weekly" or "montly" newsletter effort to round up on what
is going on would be very welcome
