Hi!
Once these are done some day soon, it will contribute for Devuan becoming such
fuzzy purple kind gentle and mighty beautiful beast...
I have Palemoon broken, am on an sans-dbus system, I think I need to recompile
it (one month 10 days ago I compiled it first and only time in Devuan so far).
My system:
# lsb_release -a
No LSB modules are available.
Distributor ID: Devuan
Description: Devuan GNU/Linux 2.0 (ascii)
Release: 2.0
Codename: ascii
#
And (I had this below and other build-and-compile-necessary packages
previously, but lost in so much apt-'ing in this meantime)...
# apt-get install build-essential
Reading package lists...
Building dependency tree...
Reading state information...
Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
build-essential : Depends: libc6-dev but it is not going to be installed or
libc-dev
Depends: g++ (>= 4:6.3) but it is not going to be installed
E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.

At first I was wondering I got a very broken system. Namely, trying to find a
way to install Air-Gapped and work online on a cloned system, I first updated
my pure Jessie RC2 with... Debian stretch (which was in testing back then)...
Now, browsing through (this was so badly needed! thanks, Gionni FireGarden):
http://devuanpackages.viralds.it
( all results below are from this location )
(now) I don't think it's a broken system... But I think that packages are
really not there in Ascii... And that I may need to add Jessie sources if I
want to compile in my Ascii... Or am I mistaken?

Just showing how the search went for my current (badly felt) need.
( and thanks for any eventual concrete advice/suggestion )
Regards!
