Since you can mount a fs by its uuid or label:
# blkid /dev/md7

# mount --uuid b3a4343f-ea9f-442e-911b-994e70ef2c5c /Net
# df /Net

# umount /Net/

Isn't /dev/disk/by* redundant, couldn't we just deprecate them,
don't that ?
