received this mail on our freedom@ inbox which appears relevant
BTW golinux would you like also to have access on that mailbox?
is the freedom@??? account
as the traffic intensifies we need more people to help look at what is
relevant and somehow addressing short-term decisions like this one

Subject: network-manager, KDE
Hello fellow Devuaners!
To begin with, congratulations on the "un-systemd-ed " network-manager! I
tried it on my new netbook installation that I have mentioned in a
previous mail, replacing wicd-kde. Everything good, except for a minor
bug, that has been fixed upstream since then: The plasma-nm shows a
question mark, although the connection is ok.
And now I would like to mention another topic. It was mentioned about 13
hours ago in irc that kde and gnome were removed as options from the
installer. No problem with gnome, I don't like it and is too
systemd-entangled, but I have an objection for kde. Together with TDE,
they are the best (and perhaps only) full-featured desktops that we have.
I know there are still bugs (e.g. usb sticks mounted only as root). Are
they so complicated, that they can't be fixed? Too much of a hassle? I
don't mind that much. Consider that in OpenBSD this is a feature!
Nevertheless, I could always perform a minimal istall, and install kde
afterwards.
Please don't kick kde out of devuan!
Regards,
Dimitris
