Regarding the previous message, I have finally put on dev1galaxy the
howto on recompiling surf on devuan using the deb-src package, i.e.,
producing a clean .deb package which can be installed/removed safely
with dpkg:

It's not much, but the same procedure can be actually used to
recompile *any* de??an package, not just surf.
