This works with the /etc/hosts type of ad blocking where you give it a
list of ad servers and point them to 127.0.0.1

Basically, you get a list like https://github.com/StevenBlack/hosts and
install it in /etc/hosts - then ad lookups go to 127.0.0.1, where they get
a bad return quicker than timing out from no server available.
