Hello folks,

debian stopped working oss under most current wine. That brings me to
the question which way Devuan is going respective fredom to choose sound
system.

Backround is, that alsa never worked for me. The best I was able to get
out was some cracking sound that gets worse when I move the mouse. But I
also experience several kernel panics when trying alsa.

Compared to that, OSS always work with high quality sound.

I wonder if Devuan will stay with free software like debian was long
time ago and let the user choose what to use or if it follows debian in
only supporting one (non-working) sound system.
