indeed. the work on Devuan, both from dyne.org as an "institutional"
partner and by the community surrounding it, is volunteer work. We are
all devolving a lot of time in this development and spending just a
very small part of the donation budget on people's time at rates that
are well below business rates. This week I'll take the time to update
the financial report to insure all is transparent and even welcome
criticism can refer to specific decisions we have taken.

The main sustainability plan for this project is based on the fact
that Devuan is a *base OS* and we can all have more projects reliably
growing from it that provide a degree of sustainability to the base
operating system itself. Dyne.org as of now has two well funded
projects that are using Devuan as a base, one running since years and
which is soon announcing a crowdfunding and another one starting in
january next year.

About the language, while the sophistication and pragmatism of
approaches may vary, I think is important to look at
results. Booksprints are brilliant initiatives aimed at producing
documentation and our people working in dyne:bxl, among them Hellekin
and Natacha, are renown experts in leading such processes.

I invite you all to contribute to the process, even criticism can be
useful and I personally agree with Steve's implicit remark on having a
prose that is shorter and to the point. The documentation of Devuan
should really reflect the spirit of minimalism we all appreciate. It
will also greatly benefit from the review of native english speakers.
