Hi all,
UMENU 1.9.4 is an extensive upgrade that turns UMENU into a full
fledged bolt-on menu interface for any CLI executable or set of
CLI executables. For instance:
* The menu itself can now contain complex shellscripts
* Any submenu can declare environment variables useable by any
executable spawned from that submenu or any of its submenus.
Not only can it be used as a bolt-on interface, but you can start a
quick and dirty application with UMENU 1.9.4, designing the user
interface as a menu, and having that menu either call or encapsulate
the proper shellscripts or executables, and set the proper environment
variables. You can whip out a logical, discoverable application with
minimal attention to user interface issues. It works in a virtual
terminal, or in a terminal emulator like xterm or lxterminal.

So UMENU isn't just another system menu anymore. Now it's a reuseable
bolt-on user interface.
