I think you before you do that, you need to check that all
your present /dev entries (or all those that matter) are created in vdev-test.
When I tried this I found I vdev hadn't created several.
Seems it depends on people sending to the author the vdev
log files and the lists of the device nodes in the host
system, and created by vdev.
For good practice, I would like to scrub my /tmp/vdev.log
file of MAC address for ethernet and wifi adaptors before
sending it. However the MAC addresses that appear in
`ifconfig -a` are no where to be found in vdev.log. Could
the address be in a different form?
Anything else I should scrub? If it would help get feedback
the author could use to improve vdev, I'd be happy to
try to hack up a script to do this scrubbing.
