I've been looking at replacing my CentOS 6 with Devuan so I installed
the beta in a VM. No problems.
# uname -a
Linux devuan 3.16.0.4-686-pae #1 SMP Debian 3.16.7-ckt25-2 (2016-04-08)
i 686 GNU/Linux

I use backuppc to back up my network but it says there is a broken
package. Turns out it is samba.

# apt-get install samba
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done

distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.
