Yeah. I noticed a tech savvy friend of mine yanking his flash drive
whenever he pleases. I told him it's probably best if he safely
removes hardware first. He insists you needed to do that under win9x,
but not since xp. Funny, but I remember it being exactly opposite. I
don't recall a safely remove hardware icon in the system tray under
win9x.
