I am using Thunderbird for all my e-mail accounts (imap supported).
Adding a new account is mostly automatic detected for the largest part
of providers including gmail and hotmail. And replying to this list is a
matter of selecting the piece I want to quote and push the 'Reply list'
button. The only manually task left is copy paste the subject.

BTW i will test netman as a replacement for wicd on my notebook this
holiday season.
