Hi Edward,
as I said in a previous email on this ML (right after you or somebody
else announced its "release"), I had similar problems while trying to
install netman from git. Just did not compile out of the box, and
there was no immediate way to get around it. I have not tried again
since, but unfortunately I don't have time to get stuck again in a
compile error that I will probably not be able/willing to fix.
Just a humble comment: if you want your software to be used, then
compiling and installing it should be a nobrainer, and if it is not,
appropriate documentation about dependencies, compilation, and
installation should be in place. The more problems your potential
users encounter while trying to use your little kid, the lower the
probabilities that they will use it ever. Or that they will re-try to
use it later, after they experienced a failure...
