That easy feeling will vanish the day you need to turn your manuscript
into an ePub. LaTeX is a spectacular language for typesetting to PDF or
paper, but it's a dead bang lousy native format for a write-once,
deploy-all-formats manuscript.

I've used LyX to write books since 2001, but it's become so
problematic, and its community is so deaf regarding the need to write to
ePub as well as PDF, that I'm dumping it for all new construction, and
making my own long-document native format, called Stylz.
