Are guys having a populist movement across the pond? What do you know, I
guess its a viral meme for 2015.
Perhaps we are finally(!) at a stage when a critical mass of disgruntled
citizens decide to stand up for their rights.

I have been appreciating one particular grass-roots movements over in the
US by the likes of Bernie Sanders -- the new presidential front runner for
the 'left' (but really for anyone anti-corpratocracy). It is quite
peculiar.

Its funny to see the establishment media completely discredit or ignore his
campaign, and yet its completely irrelevant now that we have the Internet
to disseminate information. I wish I could have a montage of the faces of
all the supposed 'expert' pundits as they continue to see the rise in
polling of a socialist overtaking the establishments carry on as usual
politics.

The pessimist in me doesn't actually believe what is happening. I was
burned long ago by a presidential nominee spouting change and hope..perhaps
I am still naive, but something about Bernies historical voting record and
integrity tells me we finally have a representative. I believe in miracles
:)

The realist in me knows that even if elected, Bernie will be tied down by a
calcified bureaucratic system that wishes to maintain the status quo. (BUT,
if he galvanizes the people for the entirety of his campaign as he is
determined to do, imagine what could be done!)

The optimist in me is shouting, Go Bernie GO!
#FeelTheBern

(sorry if my position isn't in the ethos of 'pure' anarchism, but perhaps
some good news is better then more bad news :p)
