Thanks for the explanation.

This explains why I sometimes (rarely happens) have apt-get install
blocking; sometimes I get redirected to a unreachable mirror.
In the cases I have seen, it was a mirror with an ipv6 address.
I use an ipv6 tunnel currently, and that might be the actual cause
of those issues.

Restarting apt-get usually resolves the issue.
