     Not Linuxisms, GNUisms. Nano (and Emacs) belongs to GNU, and you 
know it: GNU's Not Unix! Do not forget we are talking of GNU/Linux. 
Trying to be POSIX-compliant, sure, but GNU nevertheless... a dilemma :-)
