I've successfully made an installer image, practically usable through
non-optical drives only, for amd64-compatible (U)EFI computers!

Installation: decompress then dd, or maybe `zcat [...].img.gz >
/dev/sdb` should also work?
Then just sync, reboot and enjoy...

More details in the second partition of the disk image. Firmware
loading is currently broken (by bug mentioned in readme and/or our
super slimmed ramdisk).
