Hi guys,

I have been lurking around since before the creation of the list, but
without much time to contribute. I am happy to see that the project is
getting momentum, despite the trolls and the spells of Mr. Poettering
(or should we better say Mr. Plottering?)...

Thank you all for the efforts you are putting in this little but
important project, which has already shaken several souls around. I am
confident that, as has always happened in the Free Software community
in the last 20 years, nonsense will eventually fade away in favour of
logic, diversity and freedom.

As a matter of fact, nobody has ever succeded so far in imposing
his/her will on the entire community, and even Linus Torvalds had to
make a step back whenever the community asked him to do so (and it has
already happened several times so far). The community will realise
that we can't just bargain security, robustness and usability for
"coolness" and "innovative technologies", and no Plottering will
resist the wave ;)
