New to this mailing list.. Firstly, greetings everyone here and thanks
for all the good work.

I deb-packaged without libsystemd0 requirement:

cups, util-linux, consolekit2, policykit, dbus, pulseaudio (for
libpulse0, mplayer dep)

I'm quite new to deb packaging from source but they seem to work OK
here. All the above have configure options without systemd. I have no
*systemd* but can print with cups and user shutdown is back for xfce
menu. If this is of any use maybe someone here would like to test them
(at own risk), inspect for flaws and what is missing or use just as
example to build own.

OT: Hoping for some progress with eudev, failed here so far.
