This is what the systemd people have been saying about everything.
Something that's been around and working fine for around 20 YEARS
and now it's garbage and has no FUTURE.

What the FUCK? Who are these fucking people?

GTK2, GTK1 can have a future, just keep it as is.
Tons of good software relies on it.

We need to separate EVERYTHING from the systemd style people.
They came in and decided to take over, and destroy OUR system
that had been working fine and was stable.

There is no problem with GTK2, no problem with GTK1 either
(various programs which are feature complete use gtk1 aswell).
It doesn't need any more development. No reason to throw
them out because someone isn't going to pointlessly
thumbtwiddle with their code.

Please, preserve things as they were for so long, be
a divergence in the stream. Don't let these new people
who hate everything you have built over the years
drag you down their path.

We need a Divorce from the new blood that hates what
was created and wishes to rewrite it all in their
own image, and make proclamations like they were
a god or government ruling over us.

They are an enemy of ours. No quarter.

(One could point out that "having no future"
means finally reaching stability)
