Heartily disagree on this point ^

Jitsi ships with OTR baked in, so if you can get someone to install that
app and then setup an XMPP account, you can rock some pretty strong
forward secret crypto with non-technical people.

Least worst option I've found so far, even though I prefer to use Gajim on
my end.
