I don't know if some of you have heard this already, but it's a pretty
amazing bit of journalism. Specifically the end, when they get to the
speech Obama gave at the National Defense University asking for congress to
repeal the AUMF. I specifically remember this speech, because even the
more cynical journalists were commending Obama for taking steps to end the
war and I believe they said he was the only president in US history to ask
for congress to limit presidential powers. Especially the most coveted
powers to use military force. Not one mentioned that the language he uses
in the speech allows him to end the war, but continue the bombing.
