Correa is cool in that his policies contribute in moving away from the
centralization of power of the American Empire. However, he is not cool in
that he has a tendency to centralize all the state powers in himself,
undermining all freedoms and increasing the size of the state.

I feel a lot free-er in Ecuador than I did in the States, though (I just
returned to Ecuador from living in Florida for over 5 years).
