Most people can't code. And in general have no idea how to make things happen. So they're just appealing to authority for change, because that's what they've been raised to do and they don't know any better.

The barriers to freedom don't live in a gun, an army, or a state. No piece of technology can unleash us. I've said it before - there is only one freedom, freedom of the mind. Until that is taken as gospel, people will keep building chains and prisons out of the tools provided for liberation.
