Don't get me wrong, I love the *theory* of conservatism leading to less
political attack surface but can you actually show me one country where
it's really panning out? If you ask me where social democracy is working,
I'll point to Norway, Finland, Iceland, France as having good quality of
life and high individual satisfaction.

Now don't show me all the problems with these countries, show me some
examples of the this reduced-political-attack-surface thing really working.

But I'm glad we agree that centralization of power is the root problem.
