I'm not sure which exact project you're referring to Thomas; but I'd
guess everyone in this discussion is aware of #bitcoin-otc and PGP WoT.

As for my approach, I explicitly refer to PGP as one possible basis on
which to trust identities which need to be trusted, but certainly it's
not required, and especially not for the normal users (as opposed to
arbitrators).
