Everybody links to a friend through a social graph.
The data on the wire is udp with a 4 byte counter nonce and all crypto/garbage
after that. It's not obfuscated but doesn't go out of it's way to identify itself.
(I'm told it can be identified by Sandvine DPI boxes)

I don't know of any reports to date of actual cjdns traffic being dropped/mangled.
