It doesn't. I was thinking of other systems in which there is an issuer
of a crypto asset backing the issuance with a real asset. In that case,
it's possible to use a passive recording of an ssl session, e.g. to a
bank to prove that a certain amount of fiat is held (so that would work
for something like USD in a bank).
In the Bitshares system, there is no issuer and no tie to any non-crypto
asset, I forgot about that.
