Which means that everyone can "speak for bitcoin", whatever that may mean.

The Bitcoin Foundation never claimed to be the only one to "speak for
bitcoin", it is just the first bunch of bitcoin-users and developers
(mostly in the US) that got organized and funded. Which is a great feat in
a community that has always been chaotic and full of hyper-individualists.

However from a decentralization perspective it is good to have a few more
similar groups, preferably organized from different countries. But let's
not forget that there is a common goal: the good of Bitcoin.

I'm not really happy with posing this as a power struggle, although it is
good marketing. We're at a forefront of technology here, there are some
really complicated issues, these are not solved by fighting about them.
