my preocupation was about the database being polluted, but I imagine it can also be cleaned up from bogus users using a simple agent.

about the fee yes, it is kind of high now and this prevents new people from joining, but on the other side I'm not sure how a captcha would work for the quality of content. I like the bitcoin subscription, it makes a lot of sense. But 0.01 is probably enough. I paid 0.1 anyway in support.

speaking of old stuff, how I wish to have something like witcoin back in place. I gave it 10BTC back at the time...
