My case is perhaps really niche, but personally I can speak for the three below, as the reasons that I use Bitcoin as my primary currency. I can attest to the fact that it is now possible to travel around the world effectively, converting for cash as necessary. LocalBitcoins has really been an enabler in that respect.

Considering potential appreciation, it does make me a much more conservative spender.
