I don't know there you're seeing trolling from me, Benjamin.

Aimee pointed toward disintermediation away from national currencies and
just using Bitcoin in commerce. I support that idea. What I responded to
was the idea that Amir should report anything to anyone about her
payment to him.

As for the fees you're talking about, I quite regularly put zero-fee
transactions onto the network, and they invariably get confirmed within
a few hours at worst. The disintermediation above eliminates the
exchange fees you mention.

Amir can then spend those Bitcoins toard other people directly, as Aimee
did toward him, or meet up with someone who exchanges Bitcoins for
national currencies to get some of the latter in order to pay for things
he needs from people who don't take Bitcoins.

So, yeah, reality. I'm all for it! But it seems in this case you might
have read something into what I was saying that isn't there.
