Greetings everyone my name is El,

This is a temporary email until I get my own servers up and running. I
am in the US and am migrating everything away from the spy friendly
products I used to use when I was much more ignorant of such things.

I have been following the Dyne list for a few years and have used
2.5.2 extensively (though not lately). I helped test 3.0 a little.
Found a bug in the menu's and reported it. But that is neither here
nor there.

As far as I can tell nesting is really the only essential thing
missing from 3.0 that 2.5.2 had.

I took a look at Tomb and it looks really cool, and straight forward
to use. Nice work!

I make these suggestions humbly and please correct me if I
misunderstand but all that needs to be done to implement nesting is:

1. Scripts to make an encrypted home partition.
2. Scripts to make an encrypted home directory using tomb.
3. A GUI for creating the nest.
4. Mod the kernel to look for, and mount nests if found.

I hope I am not stepping on any toes making this suggestion, but it
sounds like Jaromil is busy for a awhile and these 4 tasks do not
sound terribly difficult to me. Maybe we could start working on them?
I am game and have time to donate.

you Jaromil. Have you been to Ulan Bator ?
I hear there is something of a mineral boom going on there,
with some people still living in the traditional way.

When I was in India I did not carry a camera, preferring to travel
lean
but have many good memories from Kolkata to Amritsar.

There seems to be significant interest in the next Dyne::Bolic
in the current zeitgeist .. and in robust, adaptive, nomadic IT.

What would Ghengiz have used ?
