Greetings Leena,
I am travelling at the moment but in theory I'd be interested at looking at this and my son who is the programmer in the family (I am more a front end person/developer) might be interested (as programmer if there is funding), so he'll contact you for further info.
I will be back in the Netherlands in late August.More about me is here: www.sonjavank.com/interact.htm or www.sonjavank.com/design/

Hello Patrice, Rob,
Thanks for your replies and help!It would be great if STEIM would be interested in this. From their website, however, it seems like they are more into developing software for live music performances/instruments etc.---more of an experimental bent---which is so cool!

My game would require expertise to produce animation (2-D and/or 3-D in places) similar for games such as the traditional board games like Scrabble, Monopoly and Trivial Pursuit. There would be general knowledge music questions and in that component we would require some questions to be audio/audiovisual.
Thanks and happy weekend too!
Leena

Hi Patrice, Leena,
I think Dick Rijken is still director there, I will check and forward this to him,

Hello Leena,

It all sounds very good (literally) and I think it's great you to join

bricolabs. I am not very well versed in music/ the music scene, but
perhaps the Amsterdam electronic music foundation STEIM
(http://steim.org/) could be of help for your project. I can ask further

if you like (but only when back in Amsterdam, somewhere late in August
...)

Cheers from Oslo

Hi,

I am a musician and architect from Pakistan. Rob van Kranenburg just added

me to your list. Thanks Rob! And hello to all!

I was looking for some possible collaboration with you.
I have developed a board game based on South Asian classical music and
would like to partner with a European IT professional who can 'transfer'

it into a virtual format whose end product could be an open source
software which any student / professional of music can play anywhere in
the world. Right now it is in a 'playable' form as a dummy of a

traditional cardboard game. Its graphic design has been done but would
require to be transferred to a contemporary compatible format that would
be useful to you as it had been designed in Freehand a few years ago. This

could also be done in Pakistan if the design software that you require is
available in Pak.

If there is anyone who might be interested in this please let me know and
I can further share details about the game and so we can apply for funding

soon.

Thanks,
Looking Forward,

Leena Ahmed
