In the directory

/mnt/hd1/1/dyne/SDK/sys/share/alsa/cards         I found the CMI8338.conf which says "Configuration for the CMI 8338/8738 Chip ...."

But when I execute alsaconf -p CMI8338 or CMI8738 the output is "modinfo: could not find module snd"
